别再说 "help yourself a meal" 了！正确的餐饮英语表达在这里

众所周知，"help yourself" 是"请自便"的意思，比如客人来你家，可以说：

There are drinks on the table. Help yourself.
桌上有饮料，你自己拿吧。

但是自助餐可不是 "help yourself a meal"，而有个专门的词 buffet。

At lunchtime, there's a choice between the buffet or the set menu.
午饭时，可以选择自助餐或套餐。

那么，自助午餐或者晚餐：

a buffet breakfast/lunch/supper
自助早餐/午餐/晚餐

外出就餐：

dine out 外出进餐（尤指在餐馆）

Shall we dine out today? My treat.
我们今天出去吃怎么样？我请客。

另外，eat out 也可以表示外出就餐

It's a good idea to eat out once in a while.
隔段时间在外面吃一顿真不错。
