西安交通大学电信学院教授龚怡宏在人工智能与机器学习领域有着卓越的学术成就。他不仅在多媒体内容分析、机器学习和模式识别等领域取得了重要突破，还成功开发了世界上第一个商用人物年龄性别识别技术等创新成果。

教育及工作经历

龚怡宏教授拥有东京大学电气电子工学博士学位，曾在新加坡南洋理工大学、美国卡内基梅隆大学、NEC美国研究院等机构任职。2012年加入西安交通大学电信学院，现任二级教授、软件学院院长。

国家973计划项目成果

2014年，龚怡宏教授申请到国家重点基础研究发展计划（973计划）项目“视觉认知的脑工作机理及高级脑机交互关键技术研究”，资助经费3500万元。该项目由国内八家高校及科研院所共同承担，在脑信号数据获取技术、脑视觉信息编解码、视觉认知试验与计算模型等方面取得重要进展。
