英语中考语法复习：可数名词与不可数名词知识讲义

可数名词与不可数名词

名词可以是可数的，也可以是不可数的。可数名词是可以计数的，例如：

• a banana（一个香蕉）
• two bananas（两个香蕉）
• three bananas（三个香蕉）

不可数名词不能计数，例如：

• rice（大米）
• air（空气）
• water（水）

一、可数名词

可数名词指我们能数数量的人或物品，它有单数和复数两种形式。如：

• 香蕉是可数名词。一个香蕉是 one banana（单数），两个香蕉是 two bananas（复数）。

类似的可数名词还有：

• eggs（鸡蛋）
• banana（香蕉）
• olive（橄榄）
• fries（薯条）
• burger（汉堡）
• hot dog（热狗）
• apple（苹果）
• carrots（胡萝卜）
• tomatoes（西红柿）
• watermelon（西瓜）

当使用可数名词时，我们也可以用冠词“a”或“an”来代替“one”。如：

• I want a cat.（我想要一只猫。）
• There's a woman at the door.（门口有个女人。）
• I have some relatives in New York.（我在纽约有一些亲戚。）
• I don't have a bird.（我没有鸟。）
• She has three fish.（她有三条鱼。）
• I own a plane.（我有一架飞机。）
• I would like four books please.（我想要四本书。）
• There's a big white dog running around the neighborhood.（有一只白色的大狗在附近跑来跑去。）
• There are at least twenty Germany restaurants in Little Germany.（在小德国至少有20家德国餐馆。）

二、不可数名词

不可数名词指我们不能数数量的事物，它只有一种形式。如：

• rice（大米）是不可数名词。（rice 只有一种形式，没有 rices 这种说法，也没有 one rice, two rices 这种说法）

类似的不可数名词还有：

• coffee（咖啡）

• fruit（水果）

• soup（汤）

• beer（啤酒）

• scissors（剪刀）

• rain（雨）

• money（钱）

• butter（黄油）

• soap（肥皂）

• paper（纸）

• snow（雪）

• sand（沙子）

• Can you give us some information about uncountable nouns?（你能给我们介绍一下不可数名词吗?）

• She didn't have much sugar left.（她剩下的糖不多了。）

• Measure 2 cups of water, 250g of flour, and 1 teaspoon of salt.（量两杯水，250克面粉和一茶匙盐。）

• There’s some coffee in the fridge.（冰箱里有一些咖啡。）

• There isn't any tea.（没有茶了。）

• There is no more water in the pool.（池里没有水了。）

在不可数名词前面加上量词后，就是可数名词了。如：

• milk（牛奶）为不可数名词；a bottle of milk（一瓶牛奶）为可数名词。
• crisp（薯片）为不可数名词；a bag of crisp（一袋薯片）为可数名词。
• fruit（水果）为不可数名词；a bowl of fruit（一碗水果）为可数名词。
• food（食物）为不可数名词；a tin of food（一罐食物）为可数名词。
• toothpaste（牙膏）为不可数名词；a tube of paste（一管牙膏）为可数名词。
